Fries and Yoga.

How are you guys? I feel great! Even if I have to review for an upcoming exam and worked overtime today, I still feel pretty much okay. So yesterday I spontaneously decided to go to a trial yoga class together with a few girl colleague interns. The problem was, we we're in such a hurry after work that we ended up having Coke Zero and a medium portion of my favorite Belgian fries around the corner where I live and rushed to yoga class. I got to say: the fries did not do me good, but the yoga class was just amazing!
I was pretty surprised I that I liked it. Imagine you get English power yoga classes from a French speaking Belgian guy! It was very relaxing and clears up your mind. It gives you more energy and today I even felt slightly sore so there must be some muscle activity :-P What do we learn from this lesson? More yoga and less fries the next time? Definitely YES!

BLACK & GOLD

Chic, elegant and eye-catching. Isn't it? Black and gold. Two timeless colors that go perfectly well together. At the same time it has this huge contrast like salt and pepper, water and fire or Heidi Klum and Seal? When I think of "Black and Gold" I think of: Barock, Cleopatra, Versace, Louis XIV of France, Sam Sparro and Champagne. Sam Sparro's "Black and Gold" interpretation is by the way as addictive as these two colors, i love his song! Since I do not want to miss out I ordered a few things at asos.com. Below the pictures!

Black platform slingback shoes with golden front zippers.

Big gold black enameld ring.

Lion cameo black and gold ear studs.

OOTW #2

My outfit of the weekend includes an old H&M L.O.G.G. logger dress. It was hanging in my closet for years, only worn once so I thought why not recycle it, cut off the ruffle-ish border and turn it into a normal blouse? Do you have any other recycling tips or tricks?

I LIKE BIG BUNS AND I CANNOT LIE

Today I brushed my hair and surprisingly realized: "omg!waist long?when the last time I got my hair cut?". To be honest, it's been ages! And it gets difficult day by day. Jacket buttons and weird subway seats... the worst enemy for my hair. Lately I always get stuck or I feel like I cannot move my head because my hair gets caught in my scarf.
Actually my best friend and hair guru always cuts my hair and unfortunately he is very busy, I live in another country, and I do NOT trust other parlors nor I do plan to cut the split ends by myself?!

So what I do is just tie it up! Knots. Elegant buns. Big buns. Messy buns. Sleek buns. Ballerina buns. Teased buns. Geisha buns. Buns. Buns. Buns. My relieving and latest obsession as seen on my last post (you can't barely see it though :-P).

Say no to tangling!

Enjoy your weekend!

OOTW #1

So I thought maybe I should post my favorite my weekend looks since I only wear business boring casual during the week. Yes, dress for success indeed! Don't get me wrong! I like business casual. It's clean, neat and posh depending how you combine your basics with. It kind of opened my eyes and motivated me to experiment with my outfits especially in the weekends. Here my first "Outfit of the weekend" post from Saturday, Oct. 9. Cheers!!!

SHOPPING MANIA

Last weekend I went to visit my parents in Germany. After having a 2 hour Thai massage (I absolutely it!!!) together with my beloved mother in Germany, we both went out on a two day shopping marathon. Well, that is what I call a good basis on how to start such an exhausting weekend (I was a bit sick and I think shopping kind of helped curing my sinusitis *haha*). Here a few items of my shop and drop experience. Warning! Long post!

Brogues

Here the first item that I got from ZARA. Some cute lovely camel brown leather brogues. It perfectly fits to my office wardrobe. Since I'm currently on my internship, I regrettably forced to wear business casual during the week only. This means no crazy nail polish colors and chunky clunky accessories :-(

Black Biker Boots

Something for the weekends. A gorgeous pair of leather biker boots with zippers at the side. I got them at GOERTZ 17. These shoes are just super comfy!!! Can't wait to show them off together with some nice denims.

Faux bow
Another item from ZARA. A faux leather camel brown hairband with a classic bow. Perfectly matches the brogues!

Red bow

Gorgeous. What more can I say? Prepared for cold winter days here some red leather gloves with bows from Mango.

Silver bow
More winter items! It is long lasting, irresistible and smells like caramel, strawberries, patchouli, vanilla and jasmine. It is feminine but not in a girly sense. Very sweet and just fantastic!

Hand tied bow

Bows, bows, bows. Aren't we all obsessed with bows right now? I swear I did not do this on purpose. Here another favorite scent of mine. Fresh, feminine and elegant.

Summer Glow

I miss my summer tan.Ltd. Edition Soleil Tan de Chanel. Gives you back your summer glow during winter time. This product is AMAZING!
